I don't know about the Professional part of the description of this glove. It looks more like a mitten to me. When I received the glove, I was underwhelmed with the quality and design of the glove. It looks like one of the mittens that my niece wears when playing outside in the snow. I was a bit skeptical that this glove would work with my curling wand. I was hesitant to try it out because I was sure that I was going to burn my hand.
The material of the glove feels thicker than the mittens my niece wears but I tried it out anyway. I have a curling wand that I have used for a while now and I am always burning my hand trying to hold my hair on to it. The glove actually worked! I didn't burn my hand once when using the curling wand that I have. I even held the curling wand with the glove on my hand for about 30 seconds and I felt the heat but it didn't burn. I am so grateful that I bought this glove even though I was sure that it was going to fail. I would definitely recommend it to others. I would also rate this product with four stars because the product itself looks like it won't work and that might cause others to not buy it. Which was almost the case for me.
