57" Waterproof Barbecue Grill Cover by Sminiker

My father owns this great grill and I really enjoy the barbecues that we have all the time during the summer months. When we are not using it, it sits in the backyard collecting dust, leaves, dirt, dirty water, etc. My dad suggested looking for a nice barbecue cover so that he didn't have to clean it off every year in exchange for awesome hamburgers, steaks, and hotdogs. I agreed and found this 57" Waterproof Barbecue Grill Cover by Sminiker.


This barbecue grill came in its own zippered bag so we can use the cover during winter months and then fold it up and put it away in its bag. The bag also has a loop on one side that we can use to hang it up on my dad's garage shelving. Once I opened the bag and started taking out the barbecue grill I noticed that it is larger than the barbecue that we own. It is not that big of deal but I would have liked it to shape the barbecue better. On the inside of the grill cover there is some kind of reflective material used. It reminds me of the sun shades that you put on your windshield in your car. On the bottom of the cover, there is a string sewed into the bottom that cinches tight when you pull it. It's great for windy days because you can tighten the bottom and the cover will stay on your barbecue. On my dad's barbecue, this is a lip on the bottom that is perfect for tucking the bottom of the cover into.

This barbecue cover is waterproof and dustproof. I have only had it on the grill for a few days so I can't really be sure about the dustproof but I did test it with water and the droplets just run right off of the cover. Neat and just what my dad and I needed. The only thing that I have found that I don't like about this cover is that it kind of looks like a trash bag was thrown over the barbecue. If it was form fitted or something than I would like it better. I'm hoping that the longer we use this cover, the better it will look. If I were to review this product on Amazon, I would rate it with 4 stars.
