Silicone Baking Mats by Cook FX

I have been cooking with baking sheets for a long time. I usually have to line the sheets with parchment or wax paper when I cook. I have tried just greasing the baking sheet when cooking certain foods but it has never worked out right. I am having to scrub the baking sheets off no matter what product I use on them. I finally decided to use silicone baking mats out and see how things went. I saw a post on one of the review sites that I am a part of and saw these Silicone Baking Mats by Cook FX. It came with two baking mats so I decided to try them out.

I received them in the mail a few days later and immediately opened the box to see what they looked like. The are approximately the size of a large baking sheet and they are woven with silicone. The material is very slick and I was a bit leery of using them. But I tried them out anyway. I cleaned them with soapy water first and then dried them off. I put it on a small baking sheet that I have and placed some chicken on it. I cooked it in the oven for 90 minutes and took them out. Once I removed the chicken, I checked underneath the baking mat to see if any liquids seeped through and the baking sheet was clean. I was amazed.

I grabbed the four corners of the baking mat and moved it to the sink. I turn the water on and most of the food and juices fell right off the mat. I had to scrub a little to get the food that stuck on the mat but I didn't have to scrub long or hard. These mats are super easy to clean.

Overall, I am very excited that I bought these mats. They are very easy to clean and they are reusable. I don't have to keep on throwing away parchment and wax paper anymore. I would recommend this product to everyone especially people that cook for their families. These mats are super helpful in the kitchen and they work really well.
