Fabric Shaver by Sminiker

I have a bunch of old sweaters that I used to wear before they started to get fuzz everywhere on it. I don't like the look of black sweaters with fuzz. So I decided to try out one of the fabric shavers I have heard about. I saw this Fabric Shaver by Sminiker online and decided to buy it.

I created a YouTube video about my experience and demonstrating how the fabric shaver works. There were a few things that I did not like about it but there was also some good things. Here are some of the pros and cons:

Pros:
Instantly starts to shave off fuzz from my sweater.
Three different settings for different fabric depths.
Uses batteries so no cords to trip over.
Lightweight and easy to hold.
Discharge tray so I won't have such a mess to clean up.
Works well.
Noise level is low.

Cons:
The different settings lid keeps falling off.
Battery cover also keeps falling off.
Most of the fabric shavings are at the top of the discharge tray so when removed, you still have to clean up the mess.
Fabric shavings collect around the shaver part.
Works well but not enough for all the fuzz on my sweater.

Overall, this fabric shaver works well to remove most of the fuzz from my sweater. It takes a while to move this device over the entire surface area of my sweater but it does remove alot. I have found that if you smack the fabric shavor on the opposite side of the discharge tray, you can get the majority of the shavings to fall into the tray. But be careful because both the battery cover and shaver cover might fall off.

I would recommend this fabric shaver for problem areas on fabric but not the whole project. It is just too small to work on bigger things. I would give this fabric shaver a 3 or 4 star rating because although it works well, there are still some problems I keep having with this fabric shaver.
